Infoday on how to participate in SHIFT²RAIL

with the support of National Innovation Office and Ministry of National Economy and Budapest University of Technology and Economics

This workshop will inform you about Shift2Rail, possibilities of participation, possible profits and other advantages resulting from it. We want to bring useful, relevant and very up-to-date information about Shift2Rail, the new rail Joint Undertaking in order to invite and involve Hungarian partners into the future rail research and innovation projects for 2015-2020, and as a promising source of financial support for Hungarian companies.

SHIFT²RAIL is the first European rail joint technology initiative with 920 Million Euros budget to seek focused research and innovation and market-driven solutions by accelerating the integration of new and advanced technologies into innovative rail product solutions.

SHIFT²RAIL will promote the competitiveness of the European Rail Industry and will meet the changing EU transport needs. Through the research and innovation carried out within this Horizon2020 initiative, the necessary technology will be created to complete the Single European Railway Area (SERA).

The seminar is designed for managers of railway undertakings in Hungary, transport research institutes, industrial enterprises, universities, for rail carriers, freight forwarders and for all who will be able to occupy themselves in future research and development railway projects.

The duration of the seminar is expected not more then to 2 p.m.

Participation in the seminar is free, but seating is limited!
